The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4600 is a 44-inch, 11-color plus Chroma Optimizer pigment printer for large photographic, fine art and graphics output. It uses the PF-10 printhead (18,432 nozzles, 4 pl minimum droplet) and 11 LUCIA PRO II inks (including Red and Blue) plus a Chroma Optimizer, and prints roll and cut-sheet media from 6 to 44 inches wide.
Roll media loads from the front on a single-roll feed, with a rotary cutter and catch basket as standard. The printer has 3 GB of memory, a 500 GB hard disk, USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Canon ships 330 mL starter ink tanks, and lists a weight of 273.4 lb (62.7 x 38.7 x 46 inches with stand and basket open). The RU-43 multifunction roll unit and a 2/3-inch roll holder set are options.

Canon’s PRO-2600, PRO-4600 and PRO-6600 share the PF-10 printhead and 11-color plus Chroma Optimizer LUCIA PRO II ink system and differ in width and roll handling: the PRO-2600 prints up to 24 inches, the PRO-4600 up to 44 inches and the PRO-6600 up to 60 inches.
