Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-2600 24-Inch Wide Printer: overview

The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-2600 is a 24-inch, 11-color plus Chroma Optimizer pigment printer for photographers, fine art printmakers, print labs and proofing studios. It uses Canon’s PF-10 printhead with 1,536 nozzles in each of 12 colors (18,432 in total) and a 4 pl minimum droplet, and LUCIA PRO II pigment ink: Photo Black, Matte Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Photo Cyan, Photo Magenta, Gray, Photo Gray, Red, Blue and a Chroma Optimizer.

It accepts roll and cut-sheet media from 6 to 24 inches wide, with media thickness from 0.07 to 0.8 mm, and includes a rotary cutter and catch basket. 3 GB of memory and a 500 GB hard disk handle large files. Connections are USB 2.0 Hi-Speed, Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi. Canon lists 160 mL starter ink tanks, a weight of 224.9 lb with the stand and basket open, and a footprint of 43.7 x 38.7 x 46 inches.
