DTG's take on the product Canon imagePrograf PRO-4600 44" Wide Printer - Demo

The Canon Pro-4600 printer is a minor evolution of the Pro-4100 printer. It offers some new auto roll load and detection features as well as some new software features. It features the same, reformulated and reconfigured ink set (from previous 4100 series) which no longer has Green ink but replaces it with what's called a chroma optimizer. This helps with gloss uniformity and bronzing and we can honestly say that this new series of pro printers from Canon produce the best photo prints on glossy, and satin papers we've ever seen from a Canon wide format printer. The new Print Layout software takes some getting used to, especially if you have been using the Export Plug-in software for a previous generation Canon printer. After some time, though, you will come to appreciate the additional features of the new software.
