Epson SureColor T5170 36-Inch Wireless Printer: overview
The Epson SureColor T5170 is a 36-inch, wireless technical printer for architects, engineers and sign or graphics shops that need wider output than a 24-inch printer provides. It prints with four-color UltraChrome XD2 pigment ink and produces A1/D-size prints in as fast as 31 seconds on Epson’s speed test.
Rolls up to 36 inches and sheets up to 11 x 17 inches (through the auto sheet feeder) are supported, and the stand is included. A 4.3-inch touchscreen and integrated wireless with Wi-Fi Direct support printing from computers and mobile devices. Cartridge sizes are 26 or 50 mL for Cyan, Magenta and Yellow and 50 or 80 mL for Black. The T5170 weighs 101 lb according to Epson’s spec sheet.

How much maintenance does a SureColor P- or T-series printer need?
Very little. You’ll change ink, load paper and replace the maintenance tank. We recommend cleaning around the capping station and printhead area about every 6 months. Do it a little more or less often depending on how much you print.
