Epson SureColor T2170 24-Inch Wireless Printer: overview

The Epson SureColor T2170 is Epson’s compact 24-inch desktop printer for blueprints, CAD line drawings, maps and posters. It uses a 4-channel PrecisionCore MicroTFP printhead (800 nozzles per channel) with UltraChrome XD2 pigment ink in Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, prints at up to 2400 x 1200 dpi, and produces an A1/D-size print in 43 seconds on Epson’s print-engine test. Epson describes XD2 prints as durable and instant-dry.

Media loads from a single 24-inch roll (2-inch core, up to 4.3 inches in diameter, up to 8.6 mil thick) with a high-speed internal rotary cutter, from a single-sheet slot up to 24 inches wide, or from the auto sheet feeder for sheets up to 11 x 17 inches. The 4.3-inch color touchscreen, Wi-Fi, router-free Wi-Fi Direct, Gigabit Ethernet and SuperSpeed USB make it easy to share in a small office. It weighs 60 lb and measures 38 x 20 x 9 inches without the optional stand, and Epson says it can be up and running in as quickly as 30 minutes.
