The Canon MC-31 is the user-replaceable maintenance cartridge for the Canon imagePROGRAF TM-250, TM-350, GP-200 and GP-300 large format printers. It absorbs the ink used during head cleaning and maintenance. Canon installs one in the printer, and this is the replacement. Canon’s parts listings also show the MC-31 for the earlier imagePROGRAF TM-200, TM-205, TM-240, TM-255, TM-300, TM-305, TM-340 and TM-355, and for the TA-20 and TA-30. It is not the maintenance cartridge for the PRO series, GP-2000, GP-4000, GP-S series or TX-3200 (those use the MC-30).
