General Formulations GF 302QS Quick-Split™ 3.4 mil MATTE WHITE VINYL
GF 302QS (Quick-Split) is a 3.4 mil polymeric matte white calendered vinyl coated with a clear removable acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive laminated to a 84# quick-split liner. This liner features pre-cut slits and allows the user to bend the decal until the backing paper splits at the slit. This component provides a convenient place to start peeling the decal. The 302QS vinyl is designed to accept a variety of solvent-based, eco-solvent, latex and UV curable inks common to wide format digital printing systems.

Frequently asked questions
What applications is GF 302QS intended for?
GF 302QS is designed for temporary interior or exterior signage, decals, nameplates, point-of-purchase displays and general signage. Not designed for coated/sealed/ treated stainless steel, brass or bronze surfaces found on elevator doors.
How long can GF 302QS be applied to windows?
GF 302QS is rated for one-year clean removability. If the vinyl is left on for longer, it will not adversely affect the glass surface, but may be harder to remove, including the possibility of adhesive transfer.
Do you recommend using edge holders when printing GF 302QS?
It may be beneficial to use edge holders with the Quick-Split™ media. The 84# scored liner is slightly thinner than our standard 90# liner construction, and the use of edge holders can help maintain edge stability and reduce the potential for edge lift during printing.
Can GF 302QS be die cut?
Yes. 302QS can be die cut successfully. For best performance, we recommend using a new 60° blade and setting the blade depth so that it cuts completely through the decal face film, while allowing the micro-perforations (created while die-cutting) in the liner to hold the graphic in place until the cutting process is complete.
