This 17-inch by 50-foot roll of Epson Legacy Etching Textured Fine Art Paper loads on Epson printers that take a 17″ or wider roll, such as the SureColor P5370, P6570 and P7570. Legacy Etching is a pure white 100% cotton fibre paper with a textured matte finish. Epson says it simulates the touch and feel of old-world artist etching pads and handmade paper. Its microporous inkjet receptive layer is built for deep, rich blacks (Dmax), an expanded color gamut and gentle tonal gradations.

What is Legacy Etching made of?

Epson lists a 100% cotton fibre base that is acid and lignin free and pH buffered.

Does it contain optical brighteners?

No. Epson lists “No Optical Brightening Agents”.

How is it different from the other Legacy papers?

All three are 314 gsm, 100% cotton fibre papers. Epson describes Legacy Platine as smooth with a satin finish (17 mil), Legacy Fibre as semi-smooth with a matte finish (19 mil) and Legacy Etching as slightly textured with a matte finish (20 mil).
