Calibrated Monitors

A calibrated monitor shows color and tone the way your files, clients and prints will see them. The Eizo ColorEdge monitors in this category use hardware calibration: a sensor measures the screen and ColorNavigator 7 writes the correction into the monitor’s own look-up table (LUT), instead of changing the signal on the computer. The result is smooth gradations, and the calibration stays with the monitor when you switch computers.

Built-in or external sensor

ColorEdge CG monitors have a built-in sensor that swings in front of the screen and can recalibrate on a schedule. ColorEdge CS monitors work with an Eizo external sensor, and our CS bundles include one. Either way you calibrate to targets that suit your work, such as a print-matching white point for soft proofing or a video standard for grading.
