The Epson SureColor T7770DL is the high-capacity T7770: the same 44-inch dual-roll XD3 platform with a 1.6 L ink pack system in place of cartridges. It is aimed at CAD, GIS and poster departments where ink consumption is high enough that changing cartridges less often matters.
Six-color UltraChrome XD3 ink includes Red, and the Adobe Embedded Print Engine processes PDF and PostScript 3 files in the printer. Epson lists A1/D plain-paper prints in as little as 16 seconds. Ink is supplied in T52Y 1.6 L packs, which are sold separately; budget for a full ink set when ordering. If you prefer cartridges, the T7770D is the cartridge model.
