Epson SureColor T7770D 44-Inch Large Format Dual Roll CAD/Technical Printer: overview
The Epson SureColor T7770D is a 44-inch, dual-roll production printer for CAD, GIS, signage and poster work. The Adobe Embedded Print Engine uses four onboard Intel Atom CPUs to process PDF data and transparency layers in the printer, and Epson says it runs up to three times faster than the previous generation.
Epson lists A1/D-size prints in as little as 16 seconds, posters and POP displays at speeds over 300 ft2/hr and CAD and technical drawings at production speeds over 1,400 ft2/hr (speeds are print-engine only; footnoted by Epson). Ink is six-color UltraChrome XD3 including Red, in 110, 350 and 700 mL cartridges. Two rolls load at once, and the optional 960 GB SSD stores jobs on the printer. The T7770D measures 73 x 20 x 39 inches.

How much maintenance does a SureColor P- or T-series printer need?
Very little. You’ll change ink, load paper and replace the maintenance tank. We recommend cleaning around the capping station and printhead area about every 6 months. Do it a little more or less often depending on how much you print.
