These 17 x 22-inch sheets of Epson Legacy Platine Satin Fine Art Paper come 25 to a box, for Epson printers such as the SureColor P5370, P6570 and P7570. Legacy Platine is a 100% cotton fibre paper with a white, smooth satin finish. Epson says it combines the look and feel of the silver halide F-surface with a true cotton base. Its microporous inkjet receptive layer is built for deep, rich blacks (Dmax), an expanded color gamut and gentle tonal gradations.

What is Legacy Platine made of?

Epson lists a 100% cotton fibre base that is acid and lignin free and pH buffered.

Does it contain optical brighteners?

No. Epson lists “No Optical Brightening Agents”.

How is it different from the other Legacy papers?

All three are 314 gsm, 100% cotton fibre papers. Epson describes Legacy Platine as smooth with a satin finish (17 mil), Legacy Fibre as semi-smooth with a matte finish (19 mil) and Legacy Etching as slightly textured with a matte finish (20 mil).
