Description
Mirage Cut-Extension is an add-on for Mirage print software from DINAX GmbH (Germany). It adds print-and-cut with Graphtec CE8000 series cutters to a Mirage 2026 license. You print on any Epson or Canon printer your Mirage edition supports. Mirage adds registration cut marks and a barcode to the print, and the Graphtec reads the barcode and cuts the matching path.
The Cut-Extension needs a Mirage 2026 license. It does not work on its own. See the Mirage Ultimate Edition and Mirage Master Edition licenses.

Mirage Cut-Extension FAQ
Do I need a Mirage license too?
Yes. The Cut-Extension is an add-on and needs a Mirage 2026 license.
Which cutters does it support?
Graphtec CE8000 series cutters. The Graphtec FC9000 is not supported in Mirage.
Does the printer have to be a Canon?
No. Any Epson or Canon printer that your Mirage edition supports can do the printing.
How does the cut data get to the cutter?
Either the cutter is on your network with Graphtec’s Data Link Server software installed, or you save the cut data to a USB flash drive and plug it into the cutter.
What files give a shaped contour cut?
Use a vector PDF with one closed outer path. Mirage cuts the outermost closed path. TIFF and JPG files cut only a rectangle at the edge of the document. Export AI, EPS and SVG files to vector PDF first. Mirage does not look for a “CutContour” spot color.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. The free Mirage trial includes the Cut-Extension, so you can test print and cut in your own workflow. One of DTG’s sales reps can help you set it up.
