This is an Epson Preferred Plus extended service plan for the Epson SureColor G9070. It adds 2 years of Next-Business-Day On-Site Repair with Printhead Self-Service coverage. Epson says its Preferred Plus plans extend product protection beyond the limited warranty for up to a total of 5 years of continuous coverage.
What the plan includes (from Epson)
- Next-Business-Day On-Site Repair at your business by an Epson Certified Technician, using genuine Epson parts
- Comprehensive parts and labor coverage (maintenance parts not included)
- Printhead Self-Service: you can buy a printhead at a discounted price directly from Epson and install it yourself; an Epson Cloud Solution PORT account is required
- Printhead replacement cost and labor are not included in this plan
- Geographic limitations may apply; service requests must be received and processed by 1 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays

This plan must be purchased at the same time as the printer. Epson says buying a plan with the hardware saves up to 20% on 1-year plans, or more on multi-year plans, compared with buying a plan later.

Only at the time you buy the printer. If you already own the printer, look at the “Already in Warranty” plan for it instead.
How long can Epson coverage last?
Epson says you can extend coverage up to a total of 5 years of continuous coverage.
Does the plan cover printheads?
Not the printhead itself. With the self-service printhead option, you can buy a printhead from Epson at a discounted price and install it yourself. Printhead cost and labor are not included.
