This is an Epson Preferred Plus extended service plan for the Epson SureColor F9570. It adds 1 year of Next-Business-Day On-Site Repair with Printhead Self-Service coverage. Epson says its Preferred Plus plans extend product protection beyond the limited warranty for up to a total of 5 years of continuous coverage.
What the plan includes (from Epson)
- Next-Business-Day On-Site Repair at your business by an Epson Certified Technician, using genuine Epson parts
- Comprehensive parts and labor coverage (maintenance parts not included)
- Printhead Self-Service: you can buy a printhead at a discounted price directly from Epson and install it yourself; an Epson Cloud Solution PORT account is required
- Printhead replacement cost and labor are not included in this plan
- Geographic limitations may apply; service requests must be received and processed by 1 p.m. Pacific Time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays
Who this plan is for
This plan is for a printer that is still covered by its Epson limited warranty or an existing Epson extended service plan. It continues your coverage, up to a total of 5 years of continuous coverage. Epson says buying while you are still covered avoids product inspection fees, and that letting coverage lapse could cost at least 50% more for an out-of-coverage plan (based on MSRP).

Yes, this plan is for printers that are still covered. Epson says buying while covered avoids product inspection fees. If coverage has lapsed, use the “Out of Warranty” plan.

Does the plan cover printheads?
