When we first received the Epson S60600 printer, we immediately started creating profiles for wrap film as well as banner in the higher quality modes. We progressively continued building profiles in faster and faster print modes, going all the way down to 1-pass mode which printed at over 1,000 square feet per hour. Yes, there was slight banding in 1-pass mode, however, by modifying the ink density in Onyx for that media, our profile still exhibited very good color density and gamut. When printing banners, many of our customers utilize DTG's 1-pass profile for extremely high productivitiy. We compared the SureColor S60 printer to our HP365 (comparable cost) and the s60 dramatically outperformed the Latex printer in both speed and quality. That said, obviously the HP Latex printer series does have some advantages in fabric printing ability as well as "instant" lamination ability.
