HP Designjet Z3100 Photo Printers Shipping

DTG has begun shipping the new HP Designjet Z3100, 12 "color" wide format printers. The HP Z3100 comes in two different sizes, 24" or 44". Like the HP Z2100, the Z3100 includes a spectrophotometer built into the print mechanism so users can create their own custom ICC profiles for any HP or 3rd part inkjet media they wish to run in the printer. This ensures very accurate color across a variety of paper types. DTG has already tested a variety of medias in the Z3100 and the color gamut has broadened over the Z2100. The Z3100 includes a Gloss Enhancer ink that works with glossy medias to eliminate bronzing and gloss differential issues on those types of papers.
